Lan and Jason are downstairs. Jason seems bothered. Lan tells him that they can watch the video later on, and asks what's going on. Jason reveals that his dad wants him to "go back to Boston and work for the firm." Lan reads a letter which reveals that Jason is being offered over $100,000 a year, full benefits, and a new car, and then guesses that Jason isn't taking it. Jason says it would be "like living in the past." ["What an idiot. Live in the past -- like a king!" -- Wing Chun] They joke about what kind of car he would get.

Everyone is sleeping -- Lan and Chloe in the bed, Derek on the window seat, and Jason on the floor. Derek asks Chloe if she thinks Adam is dead. Chloe says that they buried him, and that Adam gave her a ring when he got back from Cassadaga. The inscription is in French, and translates to "You and no other." Chloe thinks that if Adam was still alive, he would be with her, so he's gone and never coming back, "except maybe in [their] dreams." Chloe and Derek are both crying. Derek says that he and Adam were a team. Cut to Jason, not at all sleeping on the floor.

Blipvert. Adam is standing over Derek, who wakes up. Derek is alone in the room. He walks out the door to find Tamara standing there. She says the gang is having breakfast downstairs, and shows Derek Ashcroft's appointment book, where he had an appointment with a "Mr. Arker re: AB" which obviously means Adam. Tamara reveals that Arker is a psychic, and gives Derek the address.

Derek storms out of the bed and breakfast, past the rest of the gang eating breakfast on the porch. Chloe's all, "Derek?" as Derek gets in the truck without a word to anyone. Jason looks pissed, as usual.

Derek arrives at Arker's house. A Kathy Najimy lookalike greets him, saying that she's a little weirded out, having just finished her consultation. Derek asks if Arker is there. Najimy says that she wears her beret to "protect [her] fontanelle." That's the soft spot on a baby's head, which some cultures believe allows entry and exit of the spirit. Ooookay. Najimy says that Arker probably already knows Derek is there because "Ooblabadu." ["Oh, I love her new album." -- Wing Chun] Derek looks puzzled. Najimy leaves. Derek turns and Arker is standing right there. Hey, is Arker that guy? Vince? The creepy one that follows them around and knows something about Adam? Anyway, he says, "I was wondering when you were going to show up," and punches Derek in the face. That's generally how I greet guests at Chez Kim too.
