Blipvert. Good God. What is that, about the seventy-first one this week? Derek walks across the town square, where psychics are set up at card tables. He hands coffee to Jason and Chloe, who are working in the back of the truck. Jason says that the equipment needs to be calibrated online. Derek looks at Lan, who is dressed up like a fortune teller and seated at a table. Derek stares a little too long. Jason says they'll be ready "as soon as the sun sets."

A waiter walks up to Lan and drops off a drink. She says she didn't order it, and he tells her she will. Hee! Psychic waiters. What a great idea! He asks who the lucky guy is, and she says there isn't one. He tells her that her aura is giving her away. Lan is dismissive, saying she didn't come there for a palm reading. The guy busts out with some Spanish. Lan replies, also in Spanish, and the guy reveals that he knows she's Puerto Rican. Wow, he is psychic. Or, he has eyes. This inspires Lan to trust him, and she asks if he can figure out which guy is "the one." The waiter says that one of them has a job offer. Lan says it's Jason, and asks what kind of shot she has with the other one, Derek. The waiter asks what kind of shot she wants, and Lan remains silent. The waiter says, "I heard that!" and chuckles knowingly. I want a psychic waiter friend!

Blipvert. Stu walks up to a cop car and sees a rifle sitting unattended inside.

It's night. Derek watches a night-vision image on the laptop screen. Derek keeps seeing "hot" images -- and they really should decide if this is night vision, or infrared vision, because they're not the same thing. ["Exactly. We all watched the night shots on Survivor." -- Wing Chun] Derek shoots two guys arguing. One of the guys is walking around talking to himself, and on the screen, there's a glowing thing on the guy's back. Derek says importantly, "Guys? They're real!" and points to his copy of The Harbingers.
