Tomorrow Blues - Five months after the loss at State, Coach Taylor gets fired, but then hired as Head Coach of the new-old East Dillon High. Lyla's going to Vanderbilt, Tyra gets into UT. Matt and Tim and Julie look like they're probably sticking around. I guess we'll find out... next season!!!!

Underdogs - The Panthers go to State and they lose. It's still sublime.

When it Rains It Pours

A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall - Dillon doesn't do anything by halves, especially not playoff games in the rain. The Panthers are headed to State again, Joe McCoy is beating up on his son, Grandma Saracen is slipping away, and Tim Riggins is suddenly the wisest man in Dillon.

The Giving Tree - Coach walks in on Julie and Matt having sex; Tami and Julie have the best mother-daughter sex talk ever; Landry tells Tyra that she's selfish; Buddy Garrity squanders Lyla's college money; and J.D. discovers this little thing called "girls."

Getting In

Game of the Week - Coach tries to get in Tami's pants, Tim gets into college, Matt gets back into the game. The only one left out is Tyra, stuck at the Econolodge in Dallas with Clammy Cash.

New York, New York - Jason goes to New York to get a job as a sports agent, and reunite with What's Her Name and his baby. Tim comes along to help out and say his goodbyes to his best friend. Everybody cries.

Keeping Up Appearances - J.D.'s father proves that football dads are just as bad as pageant moms, Jason Street somehow pulls the house-flipping plan off, then decides he needs to leave Dillon, and Landry Kisses a Girl in a very Katy Perry sort of way.

It Ain't Easy Being J.D. McCoy - J.D.'s overbearing dad keeps him from making the memories he would want to remember. Jason channels his inner Bob Vila. Matt finds a way to occupy his new wealth of free time.

Every Rose Has Its Thorn

Every Rose Has Its Thorn - Tami thinks Julie's tattoo must mean boys, parties and drugs. Julie insists it doesn't mean anything at all. Matt, suddenly demoted to QB2, considers what it means that he just spent two years doing everything right only to get rewarded like this. Hard lessons, all around.

Didn't Make This World

Hello, Goodbye - But I'll sure as hell cry about it. Tami loses the JumboTron fight to the old boys' network, Coach decides to let J.D. play, Matt starts to forgive his mom, and Smash finally heads to college.
