And then Walter is walking down a hallway that I don't think we've seen before, and he knocks on an apartment door. Astrid opens it, and looks pleasantly surprised to see Walter. "I know what Belly left," he says, and pulls a large envelop from beneath his coat. "He left me Massive Dynamic," says Walter. Astrid raises her eyebrows, and Walter shows her a sheaf of stock certificates. "I'm the sole shareholder," he says. Can I just ask what would have happened to Massive Dynamic if Walter had just decided he didn't want to know what was in the safe-deposit box?
Peter works away instead of having sex with Olivia (Fauxlivia), looking at the blueprint for the doomsday device.
And finally, we're in the back room of the typewriter shop, with Fauxlivia sitting down and typing "PETER HAS FIRST PIECE" and "HE IS ACTIVELY ENGAGED" and the reply comes in quickly: "WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING AT ME" and "PRESS THE CAPSLOCK KEY, LOL" and "UNDERSTOOD" and "BEGIN WORK ON DR. BISHOP."
Daniel is a writer in Newfoundland with a wife and a daughter. He once tried to build a Batmobile from blueprints he bought in a comic-book store. Follow him on Twitter (@DanMacEachern) or email him at danieljdaniel[at]gmail.com.
