World's Largest Kitchen. Meghan is dialing for her test results as Mitch and Mary hold hands at the table, and Elizabeth stands at her groove worn in front of the counter. As Meghan is on hold, we pan around the family members. Elizabeth has her hand over her face in absolute horror. Meghan thanks the doctor and gets off the phone. She walks into the other part of the kitchen and says, "I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay." Group hug with the spinny-cam. Everyone hugs everyone. Quick fade to white.

Meghan opens the front door. It's Clay. She asks where he was and that he had her "scared to death." That's so not funny, by the way. He apologizes for running out and they walk outside to talk. They lean against a car. By the way, if this had happened to me at Meghan's age, you can bet your ass my parents wouldn't have let me see Clay again. He won't even get tested? Whatever. My parents would have turned me over and filled me up with cement. Clay says that he left the clinic because he felt so guilty at the thought that he might have gotten her sick. "You didn't get me sick," she smiles. She says she's okay. He says that he went back and got tested, but he doesn't know if he's going to turn out okay. He and Ferret didn't always use a condom. Oh, my God. What a wrong thing to say to Miss Green. She asks why he didn't tell her before, or at any point they were in the clinic. He says he couldn't stop thinking about how stupid he was. "If I hurt you I don't know what I would do." This melts Meghan right away, as he's clearly put her and her needs above his own like a good Clay should. She hugs him and says, "You didn't hurt me. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay." He tells her that he saw Ferret today. "She knows we know."

"What were you thinking?" Boss-Lady is laying into Mary. Mary says she had no choice, since Ferret wasn't going to tell anyone. Boss-Lady says that everyone says that at first because they are scared, but then after some counseling they tell their partners. She tells Mary that she could have at least asked Ferret if she could tell Meghan. She says that Ferret won't come back to the clinic because she doesn't trust them and now she's not getting treatment or medication. "I couldn't just stand by while my daughter's health was at risk." Mary gives Boss-Lady the, "You're not a mother." Boss-Lady ain't playin' that. She says she employs counselors and not mothers. She says that Mary made Ferret's situation even worse. "Mary, I gotta let you go." Mary is dumbfounded as we fade to white. Girlie, be happy Boss-Lady isn't calling the cops on your ass. Your whole family gets away with so many crimes it's amazing.
