"Put that puppy down, Dorota," hisses Blair when she comes out of Queller's office. Not sure which way she means it. Dorota asks what happened, but B assures her that it's "what's going to happen" that should be generating the angst. "Not all beginnings are cause for celebration," GG muses. "A lot of bad things begin... Fights, flu season... And the worst thing of all..." Dorota drags Handsome down the hall on his leash, and realizes what we're looking at: War. "Yes. But this one will be different. I need to wait for my moment, and then I'm going black ops. Off the radar, no accountability. This war, I'm gonna win."
I feel as though I have waited thirty years precisely for this reason alone: to hear Blair Waldorf say those words, and feel the full-body shiver that accompanies it. Maybe there's something to opera after all? XOXO.
