Next, we're heading for the first challenge at an airport. Amie reads that they'll also need to pack an overnight bag, most likely for their prize if they win it. Which means the Cootes can pack an overnight bag and everyone else can skip it. The families gather around an airplane that Reno says is their reward if they win the challenge. "We get to keep it?" Silvio of course asks. No, you get a shopping spree at the airport newsstand. FUN!!! Actually, the prize is a flight on the jetBlue airplane to Phoenix and an overnight stay at a spa. This is a prize that everyone claims to want, but since everyone also claimed to want that gift store shopping spree, I remain skeptical. Reno describes the challenge: a shuttle full of blow-up dolls pulls up next to the plane. Each family has five minutes to get as many blow-up dolls as possible on the plane, seated, with their seat belts fastened. The family with the most passengers wins the reward, and the bottom three have to compete in the End of the Road challenge. The Cootes immediately get to strategizing. "If you fall and hurt yourself, get out of the way," Jennifer says. She wants a spa and she doesn't care if her kids have to die to get it!

The Cootes go first. Jake is the smallest member of the family, so he jumps on the shuttle and gets all the blow-up dolls outside for Keith and Cassidy to grab and hand off to Jennifer, who will seat and belt them in the plane. That's all we see of them before the DiSalvatores go. They don't do quite as good of a job with strategy as the Cootes. "We don't have to rush," Silvio says. "No, we have five minutes. Take your time," Amy says. Fortunately, they've got Blake and Mason there, and they actually do seem to know how to compete at things. The Montgomerys charge the shuttle. The Dariuses (Darii?) will take the dolls from the shuttle to the plane, where Alecia and Tyiler will seat and buckle them. And then, the Favereys. There is screaming and panic and Lenny's head explodes. Get ready to be four-for-four with challenge losses, Favereys! That was terrible. The Pollards go last. Aaron and Ron load the plane with dolls and Amie and Anslie seat and buckle them in. Amie realizes halfway through that they'll never be able to strap in all the dolls they have on the plane, so she tells the menfolk to help her out instead of going back to the shuttle for more dolls.
