Mere sits down on the bed, and Denny knows she wants to talk to him about Izzie. He thinks she disapproves. Mere says no, she's the last person to get on some kind of high horse, but there are strict rules about doctors dating patients. Denny says she knows Izzie pretty well, and if he went to her and told her this would be really bad for her career... "You think that would have any effect at all? The thing is, I was healthy my whole life 'til I wasn't. And for the last year, I've had a lot of time to lay around in bed and think about my life. And the things I remember best?
