As I was taking notes I paused it here long enough to realize that April's earrings, which looked like simple gold studs, are actually in the shape of tiny bees and are awesome. Since Smash's story was disgusting, he doesn't get a rousing response from the attendings so he gets up to join his fellow interns at the bar. All of them seem to be drinking water other than Jo, which just smacks of a setup by the writers because seriously, how many wedding guests do you know that would be offered free drinks and would turn them down? Jackson tries to get April to admit that bringing dates was a horrible idea but her pride won't let her admit it. Alex gripes at them that now he's not going to get any easy wedding sex and when Jackson points out the obvious, Alex claims that since he is now a homeowner, he no longer sleeps with interns. He adds that also, they then get sad when he doesn't want to be their boyfriend, so it's not worth it. For the record, I think only Leah has done that and we all agree that other than Princess, Leah is the worst. Interestingly, Jackson and Stephanie share a glance across the room.
