Cristina finishes up telling Hunt the whole sordid tale, including the part where they couldn't tell him because he might have been sued or gone to prison. "Please trust me," she says, "I was trying to protect you." He tells her she doesn't need to protect him, and while it looks at first like he's storming out, he's actually off to the board to tell them about the competing bid and maybe stall the sale. Cristina sounds the BAD IDEA alarm, but he says she needs to trust him too.

Avery and Stephanie are working together on that rhinoplasty, while Stephanie gently prods him with questions about Boston. He tells her he's not doing Boston. Catherine wouldn't want to win that way anyway. But he does figure it's time to start looking somewhere else. He asks where she's looking, then says they could end up near each other, "which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world." Stephanie tries to keep her crush under control even though all she can see of his face at this point are those insane blue eyes, and that is enough, trust me.

Alex and Jo. Tumor kid. Post-surgery. Jo joins Alex in explaining the super-gusy details of Phil's demise, but when the kids asks them to tell him more, Jo gets emotional and flees. Alex tracks her down, and she's all, "I can't leeeeeave you!" She's really inflating his ego with this "I can never find another job as good as this or a mentor as good as you" stuff.

Cahill and Roberta and the board are in a conference room, going over the division of assets language when Owen barges in with the news that he has another buyer.

Cut to Crest, where the five -- plus Richard -- are ready to make one last pitch. Derek introduces Richard as the management experience he was asking for. Crest is open to hearing this new pitch, in the helicopter on the way to the airfield. He's only got room for two, though, so Derek and Richard it is. As they take off, Callie grouses "NOT FAIR!" Whatever, I'm too busy checking the roof for any signs of Dr. Romano. I no longer trust that helicopters within Seattle Grace's vicinity will not crash. Arizona wonders what they do now. Meredith suggests they head to the airfield to pick the boys up.
