Feels Like The First Time

Brother's Keeper - Mohinder's back, and he brings a little of the show's original music with him. Apparently he stumbled on an old home movie eight weeks ago that revealed how powerful Samuel could be (think Sylar, amplified), so Samuel killed him to get the information (he didn't). Thankfully, Hiro rectifies everything. But it's too late to help Nathan (although if Hiro can go back eight weeks it sort of isn't, right?), who finally finds out he's Sylar. He and Peter get angry about it, and then sad. And Sylar's out of Matt's head, so smart money says he's rattling around back in his own body somewhere underneath the Nathan.

"What Would Bennet Do?"

Shadowboxing - He wouldn't do much of anything now, because he wouldn't want to upset Claire, apparently. Samuel does a lot of manipulating, though. As does Sylon-in-Matt's Matt-Sylon, and then Matt's body ends up shot. Could a death really be possible?

Back to Season One

Once Upon A Time in Texas - It must say something about this show that the only truly redeeming episode of the season is a repeat of a storyline from three years ago.

Invisible Forces

Strange Attractors - Noah's trying to make his pet project Jeremy invisible, much to Tracy's dismay. Becky's invisibly wreaking havoc on her sorority pledges. And Sylon's invisibly making Janice Parkman scream with pleasure.

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Tabula Rasa - Turns out if your Sylar forgets who he is, all you have to do is take him to a carnival funhouse and show him his many reflections. Hiro's not quite as easily controlled, since he disappears back to Midland, Texas, right before Peter shows up with healing powers to save his life.

Taste the Rainbow...

Hysterical Blindness - ...Or, you know, SEE the rainbow of sound color. Or something. But now Peter has that lame power, though it does lead to some cute, quiet flirting with the deaf girl. Turns out Gretchen's not as much of Claire's stalker as we thought. And Sylar's not Nathan anymore, though he's actually not much of anything. But Samuel will fix that little problem. And Hiro collapses after teleporting all the way from last episode.

The Circle of Life

Acceptance - Sylar-as-Nathan is having memories that aren't from his life, which you'd think would mean they're Sylar's, right? But, nope, they're Nathan's memories that Angela had the Haitian wipe years ago. And if you think that's ridiculous, just wait until you watch Hiro try and try and try to go back in time and stop a guy from photocopying his butt. Remember when it used to be about saving the world?

To Stalk Or Be Stalked

Ink - In the second week of the season, we have a filler episode in which nothing moves forward on any front, unless you count Claire falling for her stalker, Sylon trying to get Matt to use his powers, or Samuel meeting Peter and giving him his power, leading to ... nothing happening. We do meet a new character, but she's also uninteresting.

Jump, Die and Fail

Jump, Push, Fall - Claire makes a creepy new friend and manages to freak even her out, and Danko's finally dead... at least for now.

They Got Carnivale in Our Heroes

Orientation - Hiro and Ando are heroes who put their combined efforts into saving a kitten. Yes. That's an actual plot point on this show this season. And it's not even the dumbest thing that happens.
