D.L. grabs his wife as soon as he realizes that she's back, and they run out of the club. But the coke dealer has a bone to pick with them, and he circles around and shoots D.L. from point-blank range right after he and Niki tell each other that they love one another. Aw. Guess D.L.'s gone for good now. Oh, well. His storyline was kind of played out anyway. Sorry, Leonard -- hope you get another job soon!
Three Weeks Ago. At D.L.'s wake, Micah looks over his father's medal of valor. His cousin Damon asks if he can play with it. Damon's a fucking idiot. Monica comes up and smacks him for asking Micah that. She pulls Damon away as Grandma Uhura asks if Niki's going to be all right. Niki says she needs to get some help. Grandma Uhura says that whatever Niki needs, she's there to provide it. They hug. The family leaves and passes Tobby on the way out. He sees Niki, and she nods at him as if to say, "Yeah, now that I've fucked up my family, I'll totally come and get help."
Hospital of Heroes. Peter and Adam enter and go right over to Nathan's bedside. Adam says that he's taken care of everything: plane tickets, money, and now he's going to take care of Nathan. As he draws a syringe of his own blood, Peter looks down at his brother and apologizes for letting this happen to him. Adam injects his blood into Nathan's IV. Peter asks how long before it starts working, and Adam says they won't have time to find out, because The Company is probably already on their trail. They start to leave, but Peter stops when he notices that Nathan's already starting to heal. Adam grabs Peter and says they have to get the hell out of there. Peter spies that picture of him and Nathan and grabs it.
Outside the hospital, Peter tosses the frame aside as Adam tells him that Nathan will be as good as new by the time he wakes up. He hands Peter his ticket and passport and is about to go over the plan when Elle and the Haitian Sensation show up a short distance away. "You disappointed me, Peter!" she calls out. Adam tells Peter that there's a warehouse in Montreal on Rue St. Jacques, and that they should meet there. They split off from each other. Elle shoots electricity at both of them, bringing Adam down and setting Peter's jacket on fire. He gets up and continues to run, stripping his clothes off in the process (yay!), as Elle orders the Haitian to go after him while she chases Adam.
