And then it's nighttime. House walks along some random sidewalk. He stops at the window of a bar. Inside, he sees the Cottages sitting in a booth, eating and chatting. Aww! Sometimes I think they all kind of hate each other, so it's nice to see a scene like that. Maybe they've finally bonded in the face of their hatred for their cruel boss. House's first instinct is to turn away, disgusted and bored. But then he stops and probably thinks of Wilson's wise words. And I think he looked right at the camera for the briefest of seconds, all, "Yeah, fine, okay. I give," as he turns to put his hand on the doorknob of the bar to let himself in. We don't get to see how the Cottages greet House, but I'm going to assume that it was with loud jeers and dinner rolls being thrown in his general direction.
