Chase and Foreman do the open-lung biopsy. House watches from the balcony. Cameron comes in and asks him why he wanted her to look up that specific article, which she apparently ran right off to do. The article was about how Ezra shot a bunch of newborn babies up with radioactive agents without telling their patients just to see what would happen to them. House shrugs that this was the style at the time. Cameron asks him if he's okay with that, then. House says what he thinks doesn't matter. What Cameron thinks does. "Because if I think less of him, I'll help you more?" Cameron asks; "You're wrong." Enh, judging by past history, Cameron's personal feelings about patients have definitely affected the way she treats them. House isn't really out of line to think the same would apply here. Cameron argues that a patient deserves to have control over his or her own body no matter how good or bad of a person they are. Unless that patient is a newborn baby, I guess. House points out that if Ezra had control over his body, he'd have offed himself by now. Cameron adjusts her statement: "Some control." "You can withhold treatment without killing him," she protests. "No, you can't!" House yells; "you either help him live or you help him die. You can't have it both ways," he says. But...but...Cameron wants it both ways! With that, Chase shakes his head from the operating table. No pulmonary fibrosis. Ezra crashes. House rushes downstairs to help save him.
