In the cafeteria, House threatens to fire Marcus if he lies to him about Foreman again, saying he only hired him for true stories about Foreman's past. Marcus says he doesn't know what deep dark secret House could be looking for about Foreman, who he says is it is "a decent guy." House points out that Foreman was arrested for Grand Theft Auto. Marcus says he was with Foreman when it happened, when Foreman was just 14 and Marcus was 16. "Was it your idea?" House asks, so disappointed. Marcus claims he doesn't recall but does smile about how good Foreman was at breaking into cars with a flat-head screwdriver. And then Foreman himself walks up to announce that 77's blood clotted as soon as they drew it from his body. They think that means cryoglobulinemia, a disease where the blood clots in cold conditions, which was exacerbated when 77 had practice in the cold weather. Like that was the first time 77 had been exposed to cold weather? I don't think so. Foreman goes off to treat 77 for the latest diagnosis he doesn't have as House loudly begs Marcus for more juicy details.

In the end, the details really aren't that juicy. Foreman and Marcus drove one block before the police picked them up. Their mother picked them up at the police station and didn't speak to them the entire way home until they pulled up in the driveway, at which point she said, "I'll pray for you," and got out. "You got off easy," House says. That's what I was thinking too, but Marcus says Foreman made it his life's mission never to disappoint his mother like that again. Clearly, Marcus didn't care about that kind of thing so much. As a result, he was still in jail and unable to attend their mother's funeral, which apparently Foreman did not give a eulogy at. Of course, House had no idea about any of this dead mother stuff, which makes sense on this show, where no one tells anyone else about dead parents for some reason. They all like to keep their dead parents a secret. It makes no sense. Marcus suddenly realizes that Foreman probably had a good reason not to tell House about the dead mom and begs him not to bring her up with Foreman. I'm sure he'll do exactly as Marcus asks, since he respects him that much.
