By the time we come back from commercials, House has figured it out. So have the Cottages, who rush up to their boss with the test results: Leona's ooze consisted of blood and fecal matter. In other words, "she pooped out of her mouth," says House. And here I was thinking this was ripping off The X-Files when it's actually copying that episode of South Park where Cartman crapped out of his mouth by shoving food up his ass! It's not such a fun process in real life, since it means that there's a blockage in Leona's intestines causing her food to back up and leave the body through other orifices. "Mexican take-out?" House asks. He was just making a suggestion as to somewhere to go to dinner, though, and not a cause of Leona's current health issues. Although I wouldn't rule it out. I think something like that almost happened to me the last time I ate at that taco stand/car wash by my apartment. Foreman suggests liver failure, and House says that they were wrong about the autoimmune disease theory, and that they need to biopsy Leona's liver. I guess this is what happens when you strap your patients down to a bed and torture them instead of running real tests. And this isn't the first time they've almost erroneously destroyed someone's bone marrow. Next time, House, think more about your patients and less about Cuddy's fantastic ass.

House pulls Crandall out of Leona's room, leaving her sleeping, and with no poop coming out of her mouth for the moment, thank God. House brings Crandall up to speed on Leona's condition: her failing liver has made her digestive system go in reverse, in a condition House terms "pottymouth." "It's actually much worse than it sounds," House adds flippantly, not seeming to care about his friend's feelings whatsoever. He does get more serious when he explains that the liver biopsy they need to do could kill Leona on the spot. If it's any consolation, House says, Leona probably isn't related to Crandall, and he didn't even know her three days ago, so he shouldn't really be upset about it. Oddly, that isn't very comforting to Crandall.
