...Grant (a.k.a. "Tyler") joining Robin on the couch. Now, according to Barney's timeline, this kid should be about 6 years old. Zachary Gordon, who plays him, just turned 10, according to IMDB (he also played a young boy in "How Lily Stole Christmas"), but he has the soul of a 50-year-old. He looks over at Margaret, then back to Robin and sighs. "At least someone's still excited about acting." At Robin's prompting, he admits he hates playing Barney's son, but "the phone ain't ringing." Robin identifies with this, explains that she's a newscaster, but that she's currently doing a morning show at 4:30 AM. She whines that she thought she'd be further along at this point and mentions that she's almost 30. Grant laughs and smiles, "Oh, come on. You still look great." Maybe Barney didn't do a great job casting Grant as Tyler, but HIMYM hit the jackpot casting Zachary as Grant as Ty, regardless of his age. Grant tells Robin, "I love your nose job." When she denies ever having had one, he nods knowingly and says, "Riiiiiight. Me neither." He winks. Can we keep him? Okay, maybe not on this show. Never mind.
