And... he does it! He lands on the ledge, gracefully avoiding the gaze of the camera. Just as he's about to celebrate, his parachute catches some wind and threatens to pull him off of the building. Reflexively, he grabs at the wires of the camera in front of him to secure himself. We see the screen of said camera go blank inside Sentronic's security-watching place. Mitch Pileggi of The X-Files (and, more recently, Sons of Anarchy) tells the lady watching the monitors to send "Timmons" up.
On the roof, we see Timmons investigate. He sees nothing on the roof aside from the damaged camera. As he attempts to go downstairs, Christopher surprises him and punches him out. Winston explains that they won't be in touch via radio once Christopher enters the building. He implores him to not "get dead."
Christopher poses as a janitor and heads down a hallway with a cart of supplies. We see Martin in a lab, asking questions of his goldfish. And hearing answers from his goldfish. Nerds! He gets an IM from the girl at the security desk. Her screen name is "Niteowl." They joke about him talking to his goldfish. Creepy. Martin seems stressed.
Christopher tries to enter a door that needs a retinal scan for passage. A guard appears behind him and asks him if he needs something, so Christopher punches him out and puts his eye in front of the scanner. Admission granted. He enters Martin's lab. Martin asks him if he can help him and Christopher, who has stuffed the downed guard in his cart, tells Martin to act normally, because of the cameras. If they had mics in there, too, this would be going poorly.
Martin seems disturbed that his father would send a janitor to help him. Christopher says that it was very difficult getting into the building. He then takes a bottle of Windex and sprays it on the window. It's apparently the acid-scented Windex. The window starts smoking. Martin notices that Christopher has a parachute.
Pileggi asks Niteowl how Martin is doing, and she says that the new security restrictions seem to be getting to him. Pileggi explains that Martin is the most important commodity in the building. The closer he gets to finishing the project, the more of a target he will become. Martin is hyperventilating. Christopher tries to calm him by asking him how he got involved with Sentronics. Martin explains that a hospital collapsed in Burma a few years ago. He suspected the government of causing it, because they thought the hospital was housing rebels. The government denied involvement, but Martin knew that they must have used his plasma cannon to cause the collapse. He and Kozinski went to Vivian Cox to ask how their enemies had gotten his weapon. Two days later, Kozinski died. That doesn't really answer the question. Christopher gets behind a table with Martin and they cover their ears as the window blows in.
