Martin's goldfish is still OK. They hear a bunch of guards outside the elevator. Some sort of gas bomb that was planted in the lobby goes off, knocking out the guards. When they get outside, the police are waiting for them, along with Vivian. She tries to manipulate Martin into telling the police that Chance was the kidnapper, but he implicates Vivian. They are all hauled in by the police.
Winston distracts the guards and frees Chance. They argue about whether the term for calling the calvalry is "Uncle Dan" or "Aunt Linda." Niteowl introduces herself to Martin. He thought Niteowl was a fat, sweaty guy with a ponytail. She brings him a jar for Meredith and it looks like they might have a little connection.
Winston tells Chance that, when his photo was identified, an automatic email was generated. The recipient was untraceable, in a way such as only Chance knows how to make untraceable. Chance is cool about it but leaves the room. Guerrero says that his old boss is looking for him.
