At Ray's tent, he's writing a letter to Jemma when Jessica storms in. She says that, if Ray thinks she would have stayed with him even if he was rich and Ronnie was broke, he's out of his mind. He says that he was just asking for Ronnie's advice, but she says that he was trying to sabotage her marriage by putting ideas in Ronnie's head. Ray explains that the question just popped into his head and Jessica suggests that he ask her the next time he has one of those questions. She says that she divorced a boy to marry a man. Ronnie actually seemed a little childlike himself earlier.
Next, we're in the offices of Wagner & Fitch. Tanya asks dowdy, grumpy-looking (you know what she needs) Patty if she remembers Lenore. "She was kind of a bitch?" Yes, Patty. Tanya says that Lenore has this service for women who feel alone. Tanya says that the service helps stifle those urges to get a man. Patty asks her if she has tried it and Tanya coyly says that she probably shouldn't talk about it since they're work colleagues. Then, she whispers, "Twice." Patty looks like she's thinking about it.
Sold! Patty is sitting on the edge of a bed while Ray is pouring wine for the two of them. She says that she recently went to Sea World in Florida. She had a free weekend, so she treated herself. Flew Jet Blue. Ray responds that it sounds nice and she says that it doesn't. It sounds pathetic and lame. "But that's what I like. I like zoos and Sea World." Patty is the JAM! I love that shit. She tells Ray that she loves animals and loves to watch Wild Kingdom videos on YouTube. They're unintentionally hilarious and the animals are great. She says that she also loves sitting with Ray like this. She says that she'll usually come home from a date worried that she sounded like an idiot, but she's totally relaxed right now because he's going to tell her that it's fine. She asks him if he will, in fact, say that it's fine and he says, "Kinda." She giggles and says, "That's fantastic." She's having a good time, she says. Then, abruptly, she says, "Let's fuck." That's something she never says, but she loves the way it sounds. Ray tells her that she can say it again, so she says it like 12 times. Seriously, that many times. So, they do. Ray VO's that fucking is the easy part, it was the mindfuck that was difficult. Really? You just sat there looking at her. I guess he did look really in control and comforting.
Ray continues via VO, saying that while Patty was coming, something came to him. He had to be completely honest with Jemma. The next day, he's waiting with a letter at Jemma's office. He catches her outside and she asks him why he's there. He's all smiles. He tries to give her the letter and tells her it's from his heart. "Fuck your heart." So mean. He asks her what she means and she repeats it. Stupid Ray still doesn't get it. She asks him what he thinks "Fuck your heart" means and reminds him that she paid in full. He's floored by the "paid in full" part. She tries to walk away and he stops her. He says that there was something between them. When they were in his tent, he knows what he saw in her eyes. She asks him what he sees in her eyes now. She tells him that she has to go and walks away. Ray screams after her that she will never know what's in his heart and tears up his letter. He litters and walks away.
