Myleene and Damien tells us the phone lines are open and give us the numbers. I can't imagine caring enough to vote, unless I could vote someone out, and I would vote for Janice a million times. What's weird is that we can vote to keep Holly. Is anyone going to vote for a contestant we haven't even seen yet? That would be weird. Myleene and Damien make fun of the "celebrities" some more and then send us back into camp. It's night, and everyone is sleeping. Or trying to. But apparently there are animals in the jungle that make noise. Can you believe that? Daniel says they're howler monkeys, and Janice calls it "the most amazing monkey sound." She couldn't believe it. And she would know, apparently, an amazing monkey sound from a regular one. Daniel isn't sure what the sound means, but he thinks it might be a male thing to attract women, because it's similar to the sound he used to attract his wife. Ha. He's funny. It must run in the Baldwin DNA. In the morning, they see a monkey in the tree. Daniel says it's looking down at them, laughing, and Torrie says, "Come to Mommy." Sanjaya starts making his own monkey sounds, but we'd have to ask Janice if it was "amazing" or not. Instead, she tells us how cool it is to have monkeys everywhere. Then, completely seriously, "I can't wait for them to start throwing coconuts at John Salley's head." Or, you know, at Janice's. That would be even better. Maybe America can vote on which "celebrity" the monkeys pelt with coconuts.
It's Janice's time to do her assigned chore: dishes. She complains about how people freak out if she doesn't do her chore. Daniel's mad that Lou lets Sanjaya be her helper, because he'll do it all, since he's basically her cabana boy. Sanjaya says he will not do it all himself. Janice asks, in her confessional if she likes doing dishes and then says. "No. I've been famous since 1974. Mmm-kay?" The sad thing is that Janice could actually be intentionally funny if she said these things with even a hint of irony, but she's so sincere in her idiotic, selfish craziness that she's completely and utterly hateable. She moans while doing dishes. She complains about bronchitis. Daniel makes fun of her plastic surgery and "bronchitis." She summons Sanjaya. He talks about how he wants to help Janice, because he doesn't want her to be alienated from everyone else and he can tell they're all annoyed at her. Stephen says the dish thing is going pretty well so far.
