Back with Myleene and Damien, who reminds us this is all for charity. And Lou will have a tough test later. And they remind us Janice is a selfish pig. Then they send us back to camp. John tells everyone that the most pivotal moment in his life is sad, but it changed him. Everyone's listening, except Janice, who's asleep. And Holly, because this probably happened before she arrived. John says his friend Lloyd went to the Laundromat with his other friend, Rob. They were getting high and they started slap-boxing and then real boxing, and then Rob pulls out a .32 and kills Lloyd. John wanted to go home and try to find out what happened, but his coach told him if he left, he couldn't come back. So John had to make a choice to go home and try to avenge his boy's death, or keep on with his career. He says that his coach told him, "He's already dead. There's no reason for you both to be dead." At that point, John decided he would try to keep boys from killing each other. Stephen asks who the coach was, and John and Daniel answer at the same time: Bobby Cremins.

Torrie talks about the first time she visited the troops in Iraq. She sounds totally insincere and scripted, about the hospitals where people had limbs taken off. She says it's humbling. Some of the men are crying. Lou explains that this discussion took everything a level higher, and there was a lot of respect, admiration and affection. That's because Janice is asleep, obviously. Lou talks about his friend, Rob, who died of AIDS five years ago. He says his friend was closeted for most of his adult life, struggling with the shame he felt for being who he was and how God made him. Stephen looks thoughtful, possibly because he's realizing that what Lou says makes sense, but his born-again teachings don't agree with that. Lou is sad his friend couldn't embrace happiness. Sanjaya says he's glad this group is close enough to open up. He hopes these are people he hopes to know for a very long time, if not the rest of his life. Lou says it drove home for him that you have to live your life, follow your dreams, and find love. He says he'd send that message out to any young person, and you don't have to apologize for who you are. Stephen tells Lou that was awesome, and reaches out and grabs his hand. Very cool.
