Jake and the Rangers are standing around the waiting room when the lights go off. "Guess we knew this was coming!" Bill says, grabbing his gun. Jake wants the other barricades set immediately. Kenchy walks out of the OR and says he needs an extra pair of hands to hold the light. Jake shakes his head, saying all his men are on the doors. Kenchy looks around and sees Darcy sitting off to the side. "Excuse me -- Madam?" Kenchy gestures, "You're hired!"
Outside, Goetz has a conversation with a superior where he tells him about armed civilians and possible hostages. He says, "Four hours, copy that. Thank you, sir." Wonder who he's talking to, because we know he doesn't address Beck as "sir." In fact, he was downright rude to him when he first rolled into town. Goetz tells his Goons that it's just going to be the twelve of them for a while. "Should we start planning for a breach or should we just go to phase two?" one Goon asks. "By the time Beck gets back, this thing will be over and done with," another Goon adds. "Let's start banging on some doors," Goetz decides. The Goons deploy.
Inside, Kenchy works on Mimi while looking at an ultrasound image of the wound. Darcy asks if Mimi is okay. "Well, she has been shot," Kenchy points out in that dry British way and then gets all medical about where the bullet went and what it did. "I'm sorry," Darcy says on behalf of all of us non-doctors, "I have no idea what any of that means." "It means," Kenchy explains, "All things considered, this situation could have been a lot worse." He cuts into Mimi.
