Joan's in bed, sleeping restlessly. She hears her name being called again, but this time it's Kevin outside her door. She wakes up with a start as she sees him in her doorway. She breathes heavily and squints at the light, collecting herself as Kevin says, "I -- I appreciate what you did. I mean, it was kind of stupid, and you got in trouble, but it was...brave, and...I get your point." Joan: "I have a point?" Kevin: "My little sister can get a job. I've got no excuse. So, you're shaming me back into the world. But...you're right. It's...time." Joan just looks tired and confused. He leaves, telling her to go back to sleep. All right, that was kind of treacly, but the rest of the show was strong enough that I can overlook it. Joan looks up at the heavens, and then lies back down. As Sinéad O'Connor's cover of Bob Dylan's "I Believe in You" plays, Joan starts to put her headphones on but then decides she doesn't need them. She lies there awake, thinking, as the camera withdraws through the window and drifts across the starry sky.
