Dear Derwood

Angie pulls up to the house for their first delivery. Dwight and Julio are following in their car. Julio asks Dwight why he didn't stop Angie. Dwight says he didn't have a choice. Julio insists that this isn't good for the business model. Angie opens the back of the van and pulls out two gift baskets. Karen says, "It doesn't seem like a gift-basket kind of neighborhood." Angie cheerfully carries the baskets up to the house. Karen notices the teddy bears in the baskets. Angie is wearing pink satin cargo pants with drawstring bottoms, a pink camisole, and pink wedge shoes. Classy. She uses her foot to knock on the door. A guy opens it and greets her. Outside, Dwight asks Julio who the customer is. Julio says it's a new client named Buckner. New client, huh? Totally a cop. Karen gets out of the van and starts walking up to the door. Angie is babbling on about her baskets. Karen recognizes "Buckner," except she calls him Kacynzski. He recognizes her, too. Some cops come around the corner of the house and tell Angie to put her hands up, and that she's under arrest. Karen flashes her badge to let them know she's a Marshal. Angie gets down on her knees and says there must be some kind of mistake. Dwight and Julio take off. Karen says that Angie doesn't know what she's doing. About twenty more cops show up, like, overkill much? Kacynzski says that Angie totally knows what she's doing. He reaches into the gift basket and pulls out a teddy bear, and then shows Karen the package of drugs stuffed inside. It's difficult to tell from the expression on Angie's face whether or not she's surprised. Karen tells Kacynzski not to do this, and he tells Karen that she blew his case.

Angie gets tossed into jail, orange jumpsuit and all. She tells Karen that she packed the baskets herself. Karen asks who packed the bears, and Angie realizes it was Dwight, but adds that she doesn't think he would do that. Karen softly says that Dwight was using her. Angie stomps over and sits down, lamenting her life. Karen promises to see what she can do.

Amos tells Karen that the DA is holding Angie as an accessory. Karen wistfully says that she doesn't think Angie knew. Amos thinks the DA might go easy on her, since it's her first offense, and especially if they can find the drug supplier. Karen asks if they have any leads; Amos says that the lab determined that it's probably Russian, and that similar stuff is showing up all over. Amos asks what Karen has on Derwood. Karen says he's "in the wind," and Amos thinks it'll stay that way now that Angie is locked up. Karen says she wouldn't count on it, because Angie has something that Derwood wants. Amos shrugs, like, "And?" Karen doesn't answer the unspoken question and walks out.
