Outside, Six plays catch with his son. He tells Calvin that he probably won't be around for a while. Calvin asks if he's going back to prison. Six says he's not, and tells Calvin that he and his mom will be better off without Six. Naomi walks out on the porch, unbeknownst to Six, and listens in. Six wants Calvin to be a better man than he was. Calvin wonders what kind of man Six thinks he will be. Six thinks Calvin will be a good man with his father's looks and his mother's brains. Naomi seems kind of touched until Six leans forward and she sees the gun sticking out of his waistband. She quickly orders Calvin to come inside. Six doesn't understand what he did. Jamaal walks out to find out what's going on. Naomi says that she doesn't want Six around Calvin ever again, because he brought a gun to her house. Jamaal tries to make peace, but Naomi tells him to take her car if he needs to, but to get out of her house and never return. Fuzz walks out and asks if they're going to eat. Naomi and Jamaal stare at each other. Jamaal says they have to go, and that they'll get some food on the way. Jamaal looks at Six like, "You messed up again, man!" Six pretends he doesn't care, but clearly he does.
Naomi sits at her kitchen table, thinking. Karen and Konner pull up to her house and spot the car that the fugitives were driving. Karen whips out her cell phone. Konner asks whom she's calling, and Karen says that she's making contact with the local police department as a courtesy. Konner warns her not to do that, because it will bring out "a bunch of heroes looking for promotions." Karen thinks Konner doesn't have much faith in his fellow lawmen, and Konner says he just thinks they can handle it themselves. Konner pulls out his gun and prepares to go inside. Karen suggests that they make a plan first. Konner says he's got one. Karen gives his a warning look as she prepares to join him.
Karen and Konner approach Naomi's house with their guns drawn. Karen runs around to the back of the house. Konner tries the front door, which is locked. He kicks it in. Whoa. Isn't he supposed to announce himself first? Naomi hugs her terrified son. Konner asks where the fugitives are. Naomi says that they aren't there. Karen busts in the back door. Konner gets angrier the more Naomi claims she doesn't know where the men are. Karen scans the house and runs into the living room, where Konner and Naomi are in a standoff. Finally, Karen gives Konner a look like, "Back off! There's a kid involved." Konner says he'll have a look around.
