Silas enters the boardroom to thunderous applause. I guess his people have completely forgiven him for the Port Prosperity thing. Or they took a page from the Bush/Cheney playbook and packed the room with supporters. Silas sits at a big desk, pounds a gavel, and announces that they should begin. The first case is called, and it has to do with a hog that wandered into another man's property. Silas plays to the crowd and everyone is clapping like they're in the audience on Idol. It's kind of gross.

Out in the hallway, Jack tells Katrina that one of the cases just dropped out, so they need an alternate. He wants to talk to Michelle about possibly hearing her case. Katrina makes light of how Jack is ordering her around, but does his bidding anyway. They don't pick alternates as a matter of course? This kingdom is so disorganized!

Rose and Thomasina discuss that evening's meal, and how healthy it will be. Rose drops the bomb that her nephew Andrew will be joining them for dinner, even though he was previously exiled from the kingdom. Thomasina looks a little unnerved by this news. Well, as unnerved as Thomasina ever looks, which is not that unnerved.

William is getting ready for the day in his minimalist house when he hears a noise. He starts looking around and finds his son, Andrew (played by Macaulay Culkin) walking down the stairs. They awkwardly shake hands, and William welcomes him home. So you get the vibe that the two aren't exactly tight, and haven't been in touch very often while Andrew has been exiled to wherever. But William does seem sincerely happy to see his son.

Silas finishes ruling on another case, and the crowd cheers yet again. Snivelling Aide tells Silas that David Shepherd is there, and would like a word. Before David can speak one word, Silas loudly gives a speech about David's bravery and presents him with a medal of valor. Quietly, he tells David that he can't publicly overturn a court's ruling on treason. On the sidelines, Jack complains to Katrina about David's medal, and then orders Katrina to go hear Michelle's case and keep her talking to delay her. Meanwhile, Jack goes out in the hallway and commiserates with David about what a dick Silas is. David defends Silas, but Jack says that Silas can't intercede in a lower court case unless it were... presented on Judgment Day? David didn't think that was possible, but Jack lets slip that they're currently choosing a new tenth case. Why, could Jack be pitting David against Michelle for his own purposes?
