Love Unexpected - Amidst a boatload of questions, only one thing is for sure: These people don't know how to put on a wedding. From external calamities to calamitous toasts at the rehearsal dinner, everything (and everyone) seems to be conspiring against Cate and Ryan this week. But the determined duo forges on, and Baze finally feels the sting of his numerous attempts to pull such bullshit, eleventh-hour antics.

Father Unfigured - Cate discovers that her father wasn't as MIA as she was led to believe during her youth, so she recruits Baze and Lux for a road trip to see the old man. Pops turns out to be a world-class jerk, causing Cate to realize the source of her long-held anger and finally let go.

Storm Drain

Storm Weathered - A storm seizes Portland, trapping the whole gang in various locations, but no amount of pathetic fallacy can make this exposition-heavy episode exciting. Baze exposes some lingering feelings for Cate (and hers for him) while breaking things off with Abby. Lux reveals her already-obvious fear of rejection. And Cate and Ryan set a date for their wedding.

The Talking Cure

Family Therapized - Bug lands Lux in hot water again, moving forward the dysFUNctional family's case review date. Their plan to lie themselves blind fails miserably, and the review turns into a gut-wrenching therapy session about Lux's abandonment issues. The breakdown becomes a breakthrough, though, and ultimately reunites the whole gang -- even Ryan.

Dress To Distress

Formal Reformed - Winter Formal stirs up emotions all around. Baze, Cate and Math must reconcile memories both good and bad (mostly bad). And Lux endures an emotional tug-of-war between her chance at normality in Jones and the existence she once knew in Bug. On the upside, no one gets knocked up!

Bride Wars

Bride Unbridled - The gorillas keep pounding their chests as Baze crashes a bridal expo that Ryan and Cate are contractually obligated to host post-break-up. Eventually, they unclench their fists and declare truce, but only after Baze's attempts at fathering blow up in his face when he tries to nudge Lux into Jones' arms. But not his back seat. Yet.

Gorilla Warfare

Crisis Unaverted - Baze thinks Ryan is interloping on his paternal territory, so he enters a contest to win a hybrid car. Seriously. Lux loses the last member of her ragamuffin inner circle when Tasha finds a new foster home far away. And the truth finally blows up in Cate's face, leaving her sad, alone and drunk by episode's end.

Bug Out

Truth Unrevealed - It becomes all too clear that Cate is a hypocrite -- telling her daughter to be honest while lying through her teeth to hang onto her man -- when Baze crashes the radio show and Lux struggles to get Bug off the hook for grand theft auto.

Teenage Mutant(s). Ninja Turtles.

Turtle Undefeated - Baze and Lux each throw a shindig. Baze's is in service of that elusive thing called a customer. And how? Turtle racing. Lux's is to make friends of her enemies. Cate tags along in her sluttiest dress to prove she's not a stuffy mummy. Long story short, two people go to jail, Lux gets in absolutely no trouble despite being a real twit, and the turtles bring Baze and his dour dad together at last.

Bong Intercepted - Lux gets into a ton of trouble and blames Cate. And punishes Cate.
