St. Jacob's OR: Juliet's operating on Ben, but she doesn't know what to do with him since he's neither pregnant, nor delivering, nor trying to conceive. When she sees Sawyer, she's all Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a... doctor. The doctor doctor, the one who wasn't assigned to the motor pool, is at the Looking Glass Station until Friday. Well sheesh, people. You have a little boy hemorrhaging to death. Maybe someone ought to hop in the sub or whatever and go get him? Juliet says Ben needs a "real surgeon." Sawyer's face fills with contempt for the fact that he needs Jack for anything. He exits the O.R. and we cut to...
Dharmaville House Arrest House: Jack ask Miles why he, Kate and Hurley are under house arrest. Miles says they are so not. "You're all free to leave, whenever you want. But? I'll shoot you in the leg." I LOVE HIM SO MUCH I CAN'T STAND IT! I mean I'm sometimes annoyed by characters other than Ben, Richard and Juliet, who weren't on Oceanic 815, but not Miles, baby. Kate's cool with Sawyer's approach, because this season, he's the boy she likes the bestest in the whole wide world -- probably because he has someone else, now. And then we get part one of the hands-down funniest scene of the episode, and the only real reason I assigned an A grade to this one.
Hurley holds up his left hand, fingers splayed, and looks at it about the way a newborn does when he first spots those magnificent wavy things at the end of his arm. Miles says, "What the hell are you doing, tubby?"
HUGO: Checking to see if I'm disappearing.
