That night, Ralph plays guitar on deck. What song do you think Ralph would play? I'm going to place my money on "Every Rose Has Its Thorn." Either that or "Dust in the Wind." We don't get to find out, though. In an interview, Laura says that Anthony's not one to stay up late, and that he just wanted to stay in the room and read a book. In their cabin, Anthony asks Laura whether she thinks the other singles are going to "crash hard" from all their partying. Laura says that she hates missing it, and Anthony says he knows that.
In the bar, Tony tells Michael that he'll be dead forever, so while he's alive, he wants to live. Maybe he should be writing the poetry instead of Anthony. Tony and Michael both like to make people laugh. I think this footage was shot on, like, Day Two, because Tony has that backwards baseball cap on again. Michael thought that Tony was a total player. Tony slurs that everyone thinks that. In an interview, Tony says that he needs to feel very close to a girl before sleeping with her. Like, close enough to make sure that she is a guy. Back in the bar, Michael theorizes that Darin and Melissa will stay together, and he also thinks that Anthony and Laura will. See, this must have happened before the Hot Seat, because who could think that after Laura's questioning? Tony expresses doubt that Anthony and Laura will stay together.
Once Anthony is asleep (although it looks like they are in a totally different cabin), Laura gets up and starts getting dressed. In an interview, Laura is totally tweaking and talking a mile a minute, but she basically says that she doesn't want to sleep while everyone else is awake. Laura puts on a bathing suit and a bandanna on her head, and heads out.
Okay, that footage of Laura sneaking out of bed? Was taken on a totally different night. Because now she's wearing long pants and no bandanna. Anyway, Ralph jumps off the boat to go swimming. Some other people are already in the water. Laura jumps in, followed by Tony. I'm not sure why Laura is swimming in long pants, but whatever.
Day Four. The captain announces that they have arrived at Margarita Island in Venezuela. In an interview, Laura says that she didn't expect to be involved with anybody except Anthony, but that she doesn't know what kind of person Anthony is. On deck, Toni grabs Laura's ass and says that Laura has a great butt. More fuel for my "Toni is a dude" argument. Laura voice-overs that the goal of Love Cruise is to find a person with whom you're really compatible. No, the goal is to win the money. Am I right?
