Erica and Steele are kicking ass, and already have three masks. Samantha and Mike are also on the horses. I think everyone is on the horses. I'm guessing that's the longest task, so that's where everyone gets bunched up. Anyway, Samantha's horse starts trotting or cantering or whatever it is when horses get really bouncy and you're supposed to post or something? I don't know! I've never ridden a horse outside of a pony ride at the fair. Everything I know is from reading horse books as a preteen. I just know there's something where the horse gets all bouncy and that's what Samantha's horse is doing. Mike tries to keep her calm, and his manner would annoy me, but Samantha seems to like it, so good for them, I guess.

You guys, Costa Rica is really pretty. I don't know if the Costa Rica Travel and Tourism Board is sponsoring this show, but they are getting their money's worth. Anyway, Samantha and Mike have all five masks and are headed to the finish line. Erica and Steele are almost done even though Erica looks like she wants to puke up a lung. Mike and Samantha get to the final obstacle, which is like a giant natural water slide. It's basically the thing from Romancing the Stone and it would give you a SERIOUS wedgie. Anyway, Mike and Samantha slide down it and somehow manage to not reenact the muff-diving scene with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. That was so scandalous back in the '80s, wasn't it? Anyway, they are more mature (or less well-versed in pop culture) than I am. And they are first.

Steele and Erica are next down the slide and Eric lands in the giant mud pit at the bottom and starts freaking out about how she smells horseshit. They get to the finish line and Steele is thrilled that the curse has ended since they came in second. Heather and Miles come in third.
