Heather and Miles are worried because he came in last and she came in second-to-last, so they're pretty sure that at least one of them is going home. But they are definitely still a couple and into one another. Meanwhile, Jess is talking to Erica about what happened with Derek, and how he might be off the show if he really broke his toe. Erica thinks they can give him a shot before each challenge to numb it, but this isn't the World Series, for crying out loud. I think they would just send him home.

Miles and Brandee talk about Ben. Brandee admits that Ben hasn't kissed her and hasn't even tried to kiss her. Miles thinks that Brandee was just hoping for some reinforcement from Ben, for him to say that he likes her. The next morning, Brandee talks to Heather about it, and says that she doesn't know what she'll do at the ceremony. Ben is just not that into her, but no one else would have him.

At breakfast, they all discuss how Derek still isn't back yet. I think he died of toe cancer. Jess talks some more about how she misses him and blah blah blah.

So the questions going into the ceremony are: Will Miles and Heather be able to stay together and stay on the show despite their poor showings? Will Brandee decide to ditch loser Ben? And will Derek's toe become his new partner, leaving Jess in the lurch?

The ceremony begins and Derek isn't there. The host says that Derek broke his toe and also has an open wound, which means that it's likely to get infected. As a result, he's been eliminated. Before we can find out what that means for Jess or his partner, Erica, Derek is back to give a speech or some shit. Derek limps in and gives Jess a little wink, and then says that he's been thinking about Jess the whole time he was gone, and he gives her an open invitation to visit him in L.A. That's romantic. An open invitation. Jess says that she doesn't want to stay with anyone but him, but she doesn't quit or anything. Shouldn't she quit? She hugs Derek as he leaves, though.
