Mads: "On the one hand, Ethan Whitehorse is townie trash. On the other hand, he looks like an Abercrombie model. Like parts of his face might break off if you hit him. I can see why somebody would have sex with him."
Char: "Mads! He is below our station!"
Mads: "No, like a waitress. Or somebody that works at Avis."

Emma plops down very close to Nisha in a pretty cool way. She's very upfront and kind and cool, it's hard to remember how awesome Emma is because Sutton is such a bad-ass, but they always take the time to remind you that Emma rocks too. She doesn't need your stupid social rules and cliques and reasons not to be compassionate, for they are just a game. A Lying Game!

Emma: "Hey, Nisha. Sorry about that viral video that everybody in the Quad is enjoying where I punch you in the face about a thousand times."
Nisha: "It's so uncharacteristic of you to apologize to me!"
Emma: "And yet I am doing it. I'm sorry I punched you, and I'm sorry that you're such a bitch everybody is jumping on the vicarious bandwagon about it."
Nisha: "Okay. Well, in response to your apology I will explain that I was boning your boyfriend to hurt you."
Emma: "That is not how apologies work! But thank you for trying!"

Char & Mads: "Thank God she walked away or else we would have to actually do something! We were totally thinking about coming over here, but then we didn't!"
Emma: "Do something? Something like... a Lying Game?"
Char & Mads: "No, those aren't very important on this show."
Emma: "Oh, okay. I thought, you know, since it's the name of the... Never mind."

Ethan, in secret: "Have you heard from Sutton since ten minutes ago before you left for school? Where you have now arrived?"
Emma: "...No? Hey, have you ever heard of a Lying Game?"
Ethan: "It's just some vague thing that they used to do where they would pull pranks. It could easily also be called the Pranking Game. Or the Being Bitches Game."
Emma: "In another way, though, it's symbolic of this show in a deeper sense. Because everybody is lying all the time, and I'm playing the Sutton Game."
Ethan: "That's really interesting. I'm actually more concerned about my girlfriend that disappeared. So I was thinking that I might go through my brother's police computer."
Emma: "Yeah, I'm really stressed about what's-her-name too. Hey, can you teach me to ballroom dance?"
Ethan: "Yeah, my random location this afternoon is already programmed into your GPS."
