ELSEWHERE, SOME BAR OR SOMETHING

Cop Brother: "Thanks for not pressing charges. I'm glad we're in cahoots."
Adrian: "Everybody deserves a second chance. Have a corrupt night, officer."

(Moments pass. Possibly other sketchy stuff happened, everybody's DVR got a little cut off, but this is what I was able to reconstruct based on witness testimony.)

Random Drug Addict: "Here's that laptop you asked me to steal."
Adrian: "Thanks. I want you to know that I don't support your life choices. But here is some money for drugs."

Next week, I'm guessin':Adrian Pasdar will continue to be a creeper, Char will continue to be desperation personified, Nisha will come to grudgingly respect Emma and/or come at her twice as hard, Laurel will get even more suspicious about everything, Ethan will have feelings about the twin thing, Mom will stare and Dad will beg for attention, and we will see about five seconds of Sutton and Thayer at the very end of the episode. Hopefully Emma will finally just lunge at Ethan and lock that shit down, but I'm even more excited about the possibility of her just constantly wrecking shop and bitching out everybody's parents, for a few episodes at least.
