At ULA, Drew starts his goofy half-flirting with Lauren. Drew asks if she's going to David's club. Lauren thinks not, but Drew thinks David won't give up on her. Lauren has had about enough of Drew, as I'm sure most of us have, so she says she has to go to surgery. Of course, she has to mention she'll be inserting one of those dangerous Dr. Mancini heart valves into her patient, which sets Drew off. He wants her to stop the surgery. He suggests Lauren lie and say the patient has a fever to delay it, which would be plenty unethical in Lauren's opinion -- you know, overlooking the whole letting the patient die thing. Lauren isn't budging, since she feels Drew has no concrete evidence. This is so stupid. Drew, can you share your findings with someone who isn't a hooker, please?

Former Love nest. Riley and Jonah sort through Jonah's junk and they start reminiscing. They find the first birthday card she ever gave him and they read it together. I feel I should mention Jonah is wearing one of his patented hipster douche T-shirts, which reads, "Your mom goes to college." Speaking of college, Riley wants to know if Jonah is going to the NYU mixer. They plan to carpool so as not to be "environmentally unconscious." This isn't foreboding at all.

Ella puts on huge Playtex gloves to tackle Dead Sydney's painting. She reveals the $19 million painting underneath and the show's editor freaks out, cutting back and forth between odd angled shots of Ella smiling to herself. Awww... freak out!

We're at the NYU mixer. Jonah and Riley walk together and take notice of former classmates who don't looks as nice as they did at graduation. Jonah gives an awkward compliment to Riley that she looks even better now. They find Jonah's director friend Zac and shoot the shit a bit about both their film successes. Zac asks Riley if she's proud of Jonah, which is a tiny bit awkward, but oh well. Then Zac's girlfriend shows up, who is supposed to be his ex-girlfriend as far as J & R know. The two are indeed back together and Zac credits J & R as their inspiration for their reconciliation. And when things couldn't get any more awkward, Zac and his lady ask when the wedding will be. There's uncomfortable stammering until Jonah admits they've broken up. "That's impossible," the shocked couple insists. Riley tries to assume blame, but Jonah steps in and just chalks it up to people changing. He slurps on his beer while Zac and his girlfriend stand there with their jaws hanging down.
