Final Winner: Battlestar Galactica. -- M. Giant and Strega

Most Effective Way To Traumatize Gen-Xers In 22 Minutes
The Venture Brothers episode "¡Viva los Muertos!" showed us a new side of The Scooby Gang. Fred as Ted Bundy, Velma as Valerie Solanas, Daphne as Patty Hearst? Sure, that's funny. Shaggy as an ultra-paranoid David Berkowitz, nervously taking orders from a large demonic dog that only he can hear? That tips it over into "Actually, this makes a disturbing amount of sense." -- Strega

Most Effective Way To Traumatize Gen-Xers In 90 Seconds
Robot Chicken's "Lust For Puppets" featured a segment in which Calvin's parents are so concerned about his imaginary adventures with Hobbes that they wind up giving him electroshock therapy. Then Hobbes advised Calvin to murder his parents with a chainsaw. The final shot: a straitjacketed Calvin moaning, "Mars is amazing..." while an inanimate stuffed tiger sits next to him in a padded cell. -- Strega

Most Egregious Recasting
When Octavian of the Julii left the set of Rome for a couple of weeks, he was a curly-haired, effete, awkward, flute-voiced little twerp with a weak mouth and weaker chin. When he returned later in the season as Octavian Caesar, he was "older" -- by which we mean still effete and awkward, but with straight brown hair, a totally different voice, more height, and general good looks that should make any gawky teen boy look forward to the end of puberty with relish. Yes, we were also asked to believe that Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant were the same guy on Doctor Who. That was way easier. -- M. Giant

Most Heroic Feat Performed By A Legume
When the humble peanut dragged Jericho back from the dead, it was the crunch heard 'round the world. -- Keckler

Most Inappropriate Flirting
Dave Navarro, hitting on Brooke Burke's unborn fetus on Rock Star. Even Carmen Electra wouldn't stay married to him after that. -- M. Giant
