So the Emmy Awards are upon us again, and while every year we all say the Emmys have lost all credibility and are stupid, we still manage to be outraged when the same damn people win the same damn awards, because we somehow convinced ourselves that this year it would be different.

It's never different. The West Wing still might win Best Drama even though it's not nominated and has been off the air for a year because that's how the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences rolls. Familiarity breeds awards. This year, save yourselves the trouble and let us remind you what you don't even know you've forgotten: just how uninspired the Emmy choices are likely to be.
