MONDO EXTRAS

Elektra

Kirigi is somewhat of a loose cannon, and he wants to make sure that if they can't actually get their hands on the Treasure, that they prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. I have to say that it was at this point in the movie that I had to actually go back and watch the beginning credits with the captions turned on, because I was like, "Wrong hands? I thought the Hand was the wrong hands. Unless…is the Hand really good? Is Elektra really evil? Dammit. It's too early in this movie to have a headache." So, whatever, the other dude in the room doesn't like Kirigi and they want to handle the matter quietly and smoothly. Roshi's all, fine, go to it then. Snotty Dude leaves the room and shoots a glance at Kirigi, whose expression is like, "Whatever, bitch. I'll get my way after you screw this up." Kirigi turns to leave without bowing to Roshi, acting like the spoiled child that he is, but Roshi stops him. "Yes, Father?" snots Kirigi. Yeah, I totally saw that coming. "Patience," gruffs Roshi. Kirigi just bows and walks out. Nice ponytail, Femme Boy. I'm serious. Kirigi is girlishly pretty, y'all. And that ponytail ain't helping.

Elektra Barbie: He's a total chick, too.
Erin: He is? Really?
Elektra Barbie: Total. When we're not fighting, he's always calling me up and asking me for makeup tips.
Erin: That's so…sad.
Elektra Barbie: Oh, you have no idea. The world of superheroes is FULL of freaks, dude.
Erin: Apparently.

Elsewhere in Superheroland, Elektra's at her hideout, scrubbing the hell out of some hardwood floors. Wow, superhuman strength AND she does her own housework? She's a modern woman! Suddenly, she hears something and stops scrubbing. A car approaches outside. A guy who looks vaguely like Pauly Shore gets out and preps a silver revolver. Inside, Elektra seemingly hears this and readies herself for whoever this person is. He easily opens her front door (what, no locks? I guess expert assassins don't need no stinkin' locks) and enters the building. He walks up the stairs toward Elektra and says, "Hey, you think it's smart leaving the door unlocked like that? Geez, Elektra, you're gonna end up with a bullet in your head." Somehow, I doubt that.

He walks toward her, saying he brought her something, and goes to put his bags down, and Elektra fishwifes, "No, stop, McCabe! Don't put it down! I already cleaned there!" Heh. McCabe's all, what's with all the cleaning, dude? Elektra's all, just gettin' rid of my DNA, homes. And releasing a lemony-fresh scent throughout the house, yo. McCabe hands her a bag full of money and then proceeds to lecture her on the high body count on the last job. I'm thinking that a guy who works for a trained assassin really oughta, I don't know, watch what he says around the chick with the penchant for Sais? He's relatively stupid, though, because he asks her if all the deaths were necessary. She just glowers at him and silently walks away. Get used to that too; it's pretty much her reaction to everything throughout this movie. Someone asking too many questions? Glower and walk away. Bad guy threatening with a sword? Glower and walk away. Hot Slav with gorgeous blue eyes getting too close for comfort? Glower and walk away. But only after kissing him for approximately forever. Yum.
