It is the worst attempt I've seen in a long time.

Ronnie berates the Incompetent Doctor (formerly known as Donut Doctor) for not administering the treatments she suggested. It's pretty inappropriate, but such is hospital dramas. The good news is she's screaming about how he's a terrible doctor and how they didn't do everything they could for the kid so loudly that his mother overhears, which will most certainly cost the hospital an insanely expensive malpractice suit. Ronnie's... kind of an idiot.

Ronnie and Snivelly Doctor meet in Delroy Lindo's office to all properly freak out about the impending malpractice suit, and Ronnie tries to assert that she knows more than all the doctors, which of course can't possibly be true, and Delroy Lindo just frustratedly points out how ridiculously out of control she is instead of firing her ass like he should.

Ronnie comes home to her awesome drunk parents (who should be the focus of this show instead of her) drinking with Mike, and they all pester her about gin rickeys (we called them lime rickeys in my house, but I'll allow it) until she freaks and storms off again. Mike chases after her, puts a blindfold over her eyes and drives her somewhere. Do not gin rickey and drive, Mike!

The cloak and dagger car ride is for the big reveal that Mike has bought a house for Ronnie because he wants her back. She's freaked out and pissed, because "there is no us." Mike is so offended he throws her engagement ring out the window, which they now have to go searching for through the grass with flashlights. This gives Mike the opportunity to profess his undying love for her and propose to her all over again, now that they've found the ring. She cries and accepts. Mike, you could do so much better.

In the hospital staff break room, Sonia and Male Nurse look at dresses for her big event on her Blackberry, as Chloe cheerfully stands over them in Hello Kitty scrubs, which they of course make fun of. Ronnie is also there, being Ronnie. A nurse we don't know walks in to give them the goss that "that new surgeon is here," but before they can react Sonia catches sight of Ronnie's ring and freeeeaks. Ronnie explains herself and informs everyone that her drunk parents are throwing her and Mike an engagement party at the previous scene's dive bar. I wanna go!
