MONDO EXTRAS

Where Every Bunny Knows Your Name

Fall Pilot Season 2011: The Playboy Club

Nick meets up with Maureen out back, where they get their details straightened out. And then they passionately kiss -- strictly to keep the ruse of their story straight, of course -- and Nick drives off in the mob town car. Everyone suspects that this young bunny can take down the mob boss. And the mob reminds Nick how good it is for his career now that Bruno Bianci is dead, and are all like "you have a dark past!"

At the mansion, Brenda talks about what it's like being a chocolate bunny and how life isn't actually fucking terrible for women in the Mansion as opposed to anywhere else, so stop being a buzzkill, Maureen, GOSH!

At an entirely different party, Alice meets her sham-husband as he speaks at a Mattachine Society meeting and it turns out she's a lesbian. Hef's voice comes in and take all the credit for their brave venture into homosexual liberation.

And speaking of Hef, Carol-Lynne visits him in his younger form, who is sitting and talking all Seinfeld George Steinbrenner-like and speaking with an entirely different voice, all Ted How I Met Your Mother-like. They chat while the other girls and keyholders party. Maureen imagines herself on that stage, and it's cheesy, but I can't really resist a '60s party scene.

Meanwhile on the docks, some Public Works dudes find Clyde's Playboy Club key, but instead of that being really bad for Nick and Maureen, it just means these dudes get to go see the bunnies. Lucky bastards.

Which show is more accurate, The Playboy Club or Pan Am? Find out.
