Like Mother, Like Son: The Strange Story of Sante and Kenny Kimes

What a rip-off! Suddenly, we're outside, and Gabe and MTM carry the dead-and-wrapped-up Stapleton to the trunk of the car. We see a blood stain appear from the bag by the front door. Man, I can't believe we didn't get to see them kill Stapleton. I bet they tried and she totally couldn't do the scene or injured her hip or refused to do it and they had to just cut to her dead already. I also don't understand why they killed her when they talked of just tasing her and how they now own the building. I'm confused. I'm scared. I'm a little sad. I turn on Nick At Nite just so I can watch MTM's twenty-year-old black-and-white ass in those hip-huggers and make everything okay again.

Mall. MTM and Gabe sit down and meet the twitchy gun-seller. Gabe notices Feds watching and tries to pull momma out but the Feds move in and arrest them both. They pull Gabe off-screen as he just opens his mouth by way of being "upset" and then quickly looks down to make sure he's hitting his mark. Man, this is very dramatic. It's all so...what's the word...oh yeah. Bad.

Police station. MTM is being grilled by a scary-looking cop. The cops reads her rap sheet and wonder why MTM is in town and what she was doing with the gun-seller. They are only holding her now for a bad check. Then they ask her why her spare tire was in the back seat and why she had a bunch of shit including a date-rape drug in the car and says they're checking for blood samples. They feed MTM the question, "Do you want to tell us anything?" so she can stare all cock-eyed in close-up and lean in and growl, "Yeah, I do. Go to hell!" They also have Stapleton's license and passport and deed to the house. MTM says that they planted the other stuff and the cop just gets up and leaves. "I want my lawyer!" yells MTM. Hee. Gabe, in another room, can hear her, and MTM gets up and starts talking to the wall. Gabe, embarrassed as hell to have to do this, says, "Momma, I'm scared!" Hee. Douche. MTM tells him to be strong, and that the cops have made a "terrrrrible mistake!" Gabe looks down, wondering when the hell he can get back to L.A. and go pick up some new-to-town actress-slash-whatevers at SkyBar.

Courtroom of the beginning. MTM tells Gabe to be strong. Gabe smiles and they rub heads. The judge tells them not to hold hands. They are indicted on eighty-four counts, including murder. MTM stands up and says, "We have been framed. There is no crime because there is no body! How can there be a crime if there is no body?!" There's no body left-over from this movie but it's most certainly a fucking crime. MTM is made to sit down. Gabe tells her to shut up. MTM keeps babbling as the bailiff leads them away in different directions.
