MTV Movie Awards: Hey, Remember These Movies? They Kicked Ass!
9:50 -- Man, Year One looks pretty funny. David Cross punching Paul Rudd is the best thing ever.
9:54 -- Andy introduces the winner of Sexiest Sound Editor, who tells everyone to suck his "golden popcorn dick." He can say that on TV? They were bleeping Eminem left and right, but I guess he was saying much worse things than "dick."
9:55 -- After Ryan Reynolds pretty much calls Sandra Bullock a man, and Bullock acts like a confused old lady (which she kinda is now. I guess?), they present the nominees for Best Kiss: Penn/Franco, McAvoy/Jolie, Stewart/Pattinson, Patel/Pinto, Hudgens/Efron, and Rudd/Lennon. Stewart and Pattinson win, then act like they're about to make out, then don't, and we're supposed to be all disappointed. They're dating in real life, right? They couldn't give the fans a little PDA?
9:59 -- Jim Carrey is in the audience to ask Andy to perform one of his own songs. Andy demurs, but then LeAnn Rimes comes out and sings "Jizz in my Pants" as a torch song. It's pretty amazing. Chris Isaak sings "On a Boat" like it's a jaunty showtune, and then the two sing "Lazy Sunday." Then Forest Whitaker sings "Dick in a Box" in a deep vibrato. It is unbelievably wonderful, and totally unbleeped. Well, I guess that answers that question, although "Motherlover" gets bleeped as the song ender.
10:03 -- Hayden Panettiere and Big Pak the Orbit gum spokesrapper (seriously) rap the nominees for Best WTF Moment, and I don't realize that's what's happening until it's too late to list them all. Panettiere swears a lot, while Big Pak seems to prefer Cockney rhyming slang. Amy Poehler wins for Baby Mama, and she accepts the award in an expletive-laden video in which she refers to Andy as "Andy Samwich." Awesome.
10:06 - Leighton Meester and diminutive recording artist Li'l Wayne present Best Song nominees "Jai Ho," "The Wrestler," "Decode" and "The Climb." Miley Cyrus wins, immediately thanks God -- "the only reason I'm here" -- and then yells, "I'm on a Boat!" Andy Samberg shout-out!
