MONDO EXTRAS

Night Visions Sneak Preview

We then come to a hotel, where a blonde girl is disappearing around a corner. Aidan Quinn is surprised that a young blonde would run from him, and he chases her through a set of doors, where he walks in on his own press conference. He introduces himself to the press as Jeremy Bell and tells them what he knows about the flight. Which isn't much. It was flying from Boston to Seattle (Yay! Home!), and the likelihood of anyone surviving is remote. As he talks, he notices that the blonde who dissed him in the hallway is walking away some more. He stops mid-sentence to ponder the mystery of why young girls are typically repulsed by frumpy, paunchy middle-aged men and then finally realizes that, you know, he's in the middle of a press conference, and finishes his sentence.

Aidan Quinn and his Li'l Buddy from the NTSB walk purposefully down a hallway. His friend asks him if he's okay, and he swears he is. As they enter the NTSB temporary headquarters, Aidan Quinn starts ordering people around to prove that even though he isn't attractive to younger women, he still has enough testosterone to boss his underlings around. He eventually retires to his hotel room and immediately notices that his water glass is cracked. And you know that means something, because the violins in the soundtrack are getting pretty wacky. There is a knock on the door, and Megan from Melrose Place is trying to make a getaway. 'Cause even reformed prostitutes have taste enough to know that Aidan Quinn is not aging so gracefully. Unfortunately, he catches her before she can make it out of sight. Taking a deep breath, she plugs her nose and jumps: "Are you Jeremy Bell? The investigator in charge of the accident? My family was on the plane." She walks into his room as he pulls out the card for the Family Affairs Officer for the NTSB, who I guess is the on-staff grief counselor that Megan is supposed to talk to about her family. But Megan wants to get this scene over with and barrels forward: "There's no one left. Do you think they suffered? There must have been fear. Matthew had a little bear. Can you get that for me?" Aidan Quinn is trying to think of some way to keep her in the room, so he offers to call the Family Affairs Officer for her, but Megan really wants to get this scene over with, so she just grabs him and kisses him. On the mouth. Without gagging. Then she's all like, "What am I doing? This is wrong." I totally agree. He tells her he's going to get her a drink, so it won't be so terrible, and then is about to start kissing her again when his phone rings. It's his Li'l Buddy, telling him to get his ass to the crash site because they found a big chunk of the fuselage and he should come look at it. Since it's his job and all. He looks all disappointed, but agrees to come. Megan has passed out from the fumes and is lying on the bed. He just leaves her lying there unconscious, 'cause that's real classy.
