Spring Pilot Season: Castle

As Tisdale Jr. is taken away, Castle and Beckett have an alley farewell. Castle wants things to continue. Maybe they can de-brief each other? Oh, Nathan. Beckett doesn't want to be one of his conquests, nor does she want him to be one of hers. Too bad, Castle says, "It could have been great." Then, possibly in a bid to ensure this show will still be around next year, Beckett leans in close and whispers in Castle's ear, "You have no idea." Aaaaaand sexual tension accomplished. She walks away, and Castle looks like he's been drugged, or perhaps lobotomized, or as if all of the blood has rushed away from his brain to somewhere else. Cut to Castle typing on a computer with the keyboard in his lap, like a badass Doogie Howser. He is so blogging about this.

The next day, or week, Beckett walks into her captain's office, and is told that she has a fan. The mayor's office called, and apparently, Castle is basing a new character on her, a tough female cop. She's flattered, until the captain tells her that Castle needs to do research, and will be following her around. She protests, but it is non-negotiable. She asks how long, and the captain says that's up to him, pointing behind her. She turns to see Nathan Fillion making the smuggest facial expression ever generated by a human being. Cue crazy "heck of a situation, huh, folks?" music. The End.
