Then Christina's up in the NICU, where Isabel is staring through the window. How the hell did she get in there? This is worse security than on House. Isabel wants to give Moses a dollar, for his future. But then the cops show up to take her away. Isabel is mad that Christina lied and said she wouldn't call the police. Then she collapses, since she's hemorrhaging. Apparently, the baby is hers. No one saw this coming, unless you were watching at home, in which case it was obvious from the get-go.
At the Executive meeting, Christina rushes in late, and they all discuss the hiring freeze and new budgets. Christina talks about how patients are going to suffer, at which point Dr. Bitchy Marshall pipes in with her how stupid nurses are rant... again. There's fighting, and unassertive Chief of Surgery Michael Vartan tries to stop them, because apparently he's in charge of everything in this hospital. More Nurse/Doctor bickering. Then Christina asks for volunteers for their tea party thingy.
Camille's at the hospital, all ticked off that her mother hung her out to dry. She needs a ride to her grandmother's dinner party. Christina has an emergency to deal with, so she gives her cab money. She's sleeping over at the grandmother's so she'll be out and Christina worries that she's secretly sneaking out to buy pot, but apparently pretty girls don't have to buy their own. Good to know!
Isabel's hooked up to an IV, and restrained to the bed, and griping that another nurse is trying to poison her. Christina apologizes and then they share Jello. I kind of like Isabel. So far, she's the only interesting character on the show.
Shift change. Cue sappy music and montage of tired burned out staffers going home for the day. Christina visits Moses and tapes the dollar from Isabel to his incubator. Ray admits to almost killing Candy's Corporal. Then he hits on her and it is lame. Christina visits David, they discuss the whole suicide thing and his cancer. He's had an epiphany. He wants to live. It's predictable. Nick shows up at Bobbie's with a jar of spackle with a bow on it. She looks hot, but now she's wearing a metal prosthetic and a really hot dress.
Christina's home and is talking to the urn again. Telling Michael about how David almost died. She says that sending his ashes to the mom is cruel and unusual. So she takes this pretty Chinese lantern, lights it, puts some of the ashes in the flames and sends it off into the night sky as she cries.
