He's doubled back and is now making his way towards the President. She draws her gun and orders him to freeze, but he ignores her because he's on his way to get stabby.

Pete is now running with the bloodstone, so of course he trips on something invisible and wipes out, allowing the bloodstone to roll over to Saul Rubinek, who has materialized before him.

Back to Myka and the nerd -- he kicks the gun out of her hand, spins her around and holds the knife to her throat, and a bunch of agents train guns on him.

Cut back to Saul and Pete, as Pete takes out a glowing object of some sort, which he tells Pete he can't put down, despite his orders to do so.

Back to Myka -- she gets out of nerd's grasp and kicks him a lot. He's lying on the ground by the end of it. I guess we're meant to have learned that Myka's really bad ass or something from that, but that was a pretty weak looking fight.

Saul has just crammed the glowing object into the bloodstone, which sucks the evil out of nerd and cures him. He is still in so much trouble though, regardless. Being possessed is the worst!

Saul disappears, and we watch the blood on Pete's shirt from the bloodstone disappear as well.

Party's over, and Pete's boss Dickenson is annoyed at him for stealing the bloodstone and saying weird things like it was bleeding, and that the guy from Dick stole it and then disappeared, so Pete's gotta take a drug test to prove it wasn't all a hallucination. Also, the guy Saul zapped doesn't remember anything, and nerd is in a coma, so no one to corroborate the crazy story. Pete is suspended with pay for two weeks.

He walks into his apartment, yawning, when his sixth sense acts up again and he can tell something weird is up. He draws his gun and finds CCH Pounder in his apartment, calling herself Mrs. Frederic. She is with the government and is there on a matter of national security. She and her goon present him with an invitation to "endless wonder," which is hilarious. She's cryptic and bossy and she hates questions. Pete thinks it's a joke, which Frederic barely responds to, ordering Pete to be in South Dakota tomorrow for an indefinite amount of time and to tell no one about it.

So now we're in South Dakota! Pete is driving down a dirt road, being directed by his GPS to turn onto a field, which he does.
