The Facts of Life Reunion

Pamie: Oh no, no. Poor guy.
Stee: Poor Richard Masur. ["In fact, it's not Richard Masur; it's actually Joel Brooks, most recently seen as Ruth's co-worker at the flower shop on Six Feet Under. But it's funnier if you pretend it's Richard Masur in the Facts of Life movie." -- Wing Chun] Man, Blair used to have such a great ass.
Pamie: Did she? I could never look around her hair. Was Masur in The Facts of Life?
Stee: I think so. The later years. He's been in every finally-dying sitcom.
Pamie: He was in The Honeymooners at the end.
Stee: Your Show of Shows too.
Pamie: Texaco Star Theatre.
Stee: Oh, "George" ran off to Hollywood. Get it? He was their handyman.
Pamie: Oh. Oh. Terrible.
Stee: Horrible. Oh. Eh.
Pamie: Oh. As if he really became George Clooney. Eh. Oh. Suck.

Tootie enters and tells Natalie not to call her "Tootie." They hug and say how great it is to be in the same time zone. Natalie tells Baby Tootie to give her "Tante Nat" a hug. Blair and Tootie hug, and Natalie asks to get in on the group hug. They all decide to go see the old school, since Eastland is getting torn down. Natalie calls shotgun. They all run off, leaving Blair behind, who announces, "One cannot run in Manolo Blahniks," a statement that Sarah Jessica Parker has often proven false. Natalie and Tootie run back and pick Blair up by the arms and carry her off as the theme music starts playing.

Pamie: I thought Tootie and Natalie saw each other all the time.
Stee: What did she just say? "Come give your Ton of Aunts a hug"?
Pamie: Ton of Aunts! No. "Tante Nat." Tante is German. But why...German...I don't know.
Stee: The song! Oh no.
Pamie: Hee. Heeeeeeeeeee. This is great.
Stee: Awesome.
Pamie: I can't believe we need to send this tape to Sars. So sad we can't keep it and watch it every day. I don't understand. Blair owns the inn? I thought she was a lawyer.
Stee: The writers forgot that part already.

The girls are hanging out of the limo. Natalie clearly didn't get shotgun. The driver is a very patient man. Blair, Natalie, and Tootie are screaming at the top of their lungs as the limo driver hits fifteen miles an hour. Poor Baby Tootie's not allowed to have any fun. The limo pulls around to the school as the theme song still blares on. Suddenly the lyric "When the world never seems to be living up to your dreams" really stands out as we watch this scene.
