Clint: No, I don't.

Sara M: [giggles, blushes]

Clint: I came across as maybe a bad guy at first, but I'd like to think throughout this season that I validate myself -- show who I really am -- and that I have a good heart.

Sara M: I don't think it's very fair that people say you're a bad guy just because you flirt.

Clint: Yeah, really. I wasn't shooting anyone.

Sara M: Riding around on horses, that was very nice.

Clint: Yeah, I mean, I was riding on horses with different girls, and not just flirting but really talking to them.

Sara M: Sounds fine to me.

Clint: I think so. I mean, I'm not married. [He looks down at his hand where there is, in fact, no wedding ring.]

Sara M: You're also the only one on the show who isn't a musician, so maybe that makes it easy for viewers to single you out as the bad guy. You have different motives than the rest of the cast.

Clint: I'd like to think that the viewers say "thank God he's on the show," because after watching a bunch of people all doing the same thing, it can get very repetitive and boring. [laughs] Um...I was out in Los Angeles acting, and my dad asked me to come home and help out with the company. And then about two months after living back in Nashville, the show producers came to Nashville and said, "We have this idea for a show, we don't want another musician, we want somebody that can show that Nashville is more than just a music town." They wanted somebody that worked for a family business, a successful business, who was young, single, and likes to go out and have fun. But I wouldn't say I'm not involved in the music business -- I've done a lot of these people's music videos, my dad's sold a lot of country singers their airplanes -- so, you know, it's kinda such a big small town that everybody's somewhat intertwined at some point.

Sara M: Can you play any instruments?

Clint: No.

Sara M: Do you have any interest in learning?

Clint: Actually, I can play guitar. I can play, like, three chords.

Sara M: Worked for Nirvana.

Clint: I was going to say, "I'm pretty good with my fingers," but that's going to get taken out of context...

Sara M: Oh, you're good at fingering chords.

Clint: ...

Sara M: Right, well, what are you hoping to get out of this show if it isn't a music career?
