Sara M: Everybody knows Clint!

Sarah: Yeah, Clint seems to have a connection to everyone. We are all in the same circle, we're all in the young Nashville crowd, so, we know each other.

Sara M: Can you play any instruments?

Sarah: I can play a little bit of guitar.

Rachel: Piano.

Sara M: What made you decide you wanted to be country singers?

Rachel: I think it comes from background. I grew up listening to country and it's just in my blood. Everybody, when a singer sings they have a certain feel to their voice that you can't change. And my raw, natural voice was just a country twang, it had a country twist to it.

Sarah: I grew up in South Georgia and I'm one of six kids, so, you know, I'm a born entertainer. I was always putting on shows for my family and I just realized I really had a talent for entertaining and particularly singing. Then I gravitated towards -- like Rachel said, my voice also fit, you know, more of a country-type thing. So I knew since I was like seven or eight that I wanted to be a singer.

Sara M: Your older sibling, is that a brother or a sister?

Sarah: I have an older sister. She's the shy one, she's pretty, you know, she's like a momma's girl and I'm more the independent, outspoken one.

Sara M: And then there's a passel of younger kids.

Sarah: Then there's the whole passel of those characters, yeah.

Sara M: And you're done with school by now, right?

Sarah: Yeah, I would've had one year left but I'm part-time right now because of my career. I want to give it a hundred percent so I went part-time this semester. But, you know, I'm not really...I want to be an entertainer, I want to be a singer. You don't have to have a degree for that. And that's what I moved to Nashville for and I just wanted to have a plan B. And if Plan A works out, you know, me getting a record deal, then I'm not worried about school. Which is horrible, but...

Sara M: Not really, I mean, you go to school to learn for your future career. If you've already got that career, then...maybe not.

Sarah: And my parents feel the same way and it's awesome to have their support.

Sara M: And you, Rachel?

Rachel: Yeah, um, I'm part-time right now because it's really, my life's kinda crazy. My parents, I don't think they'd ever let me not graduate college, so I'm gonna end up graduating even if it takes a little longer than most everybody else.

Sarah: I love Lee Brice, he's on Curb Records. Phenomenal artist and singer...I love Faith Hill. She's such a classy individual.

Rachel: I'm a Johnny Cash girl.

Sarah: She loves Johnny Cash.
