The Growing Pains Reunion Movie

Mike reads about Ben's arrest in the newspaper. Kate comes in and tells Mike that one of the kids told her about what Ben tried to do last night. Mike thinks she's talking about giving them burgers. Kate says he invited their kids into his van.

Ben shows up with a bandage on his nose. Mike comes in and asks about his nose. Ben says it's fine. Mike calls him a "loser" and starts shoving him around. Jason breaks it up and kicks Mike out, telling him to cool off. Chrissy films the whole thing, but her camera battery is dead. Maggie comes downstairs. Ben sees the story in the paper. Jason starts giving a speech about "lessons to be learned," and Ben tells him to "save it." Ha! Go, Ben!

Maggie and Jason are telling Carol that she's quitting the race. Carol says Maggie has to stop quitting things and putting her family first instead of herself. Carol reviews Maggie's resume, saying, "Career mistakes add up." Um, isn't Maggie close to retirement age? Maybe her career has been raising a family, which is valid. Carol calls Maggie a "dabbler." Maggie and Jason say that Carol doesn't have kids so she doesn't know what she's talking about. Ugh, enough with the family values. Carol has a career, and no husband, so she can't possibly be happy. We get it.

Carol shows up at Scott's house. Scary Jack doesn't want to go to his room because he's "always part of the adult stuff." So that's his problem. Carol breaks up with Scott because he leaked the stuff about Ben to the newspaper.

Chrissy is editing her movie on a laptop. As if. Maggie comes in and tells Chrissy and Jason that Ben's bed wasn't slept in. Cut to Jason and Mike looking for Ben. They argue about whose fault it is that Ben is unhappy. They can't find Ben. Maggie calls, and they tell her they can't find Ben. Jason and Mike share gripes about how unreasonable the womenfolk are.

Ben and Crusty Old Guy are walking down the street. A hammer nearly drops on Ben's head. The owner of said hammer, one Jody Sheffield, is working for Habitat For Humanity. She checks out Maggie's flyer and says that most candidates don't campaign in her part of town, where "the deep-hued folks" live. Ben offers to help her hammer (heh heh) and Crusty Old Guy leaves.

Jason and Mike don't know how to tell Maggie that they can't find Ben. They overhear Stereotypically Swishy Guy saying that Ben called, and he needs more flyers. Jason and Mike yell out "I found him!" and race off.

Cut to Ben and an assembled group listening to a freaking gospel choir giving an impromptu performance. Jason and Mike run up, and Ben says that he has shown all of these people that Maggie cares. Jason says that Maggie is going to quit the campaign, and they need to get to her.
